My insatiable appetite for international travel is rooted in my experiences as a youth. The daughter of an Air Force officer, I moved frequently from state to state and country to country. This taught me respect for people of other nations and cultures.

A constant yearning to travel abroad has continued into adulthood and this has played a significant role in my artistic career.

I paint memories---memories of the many places I've been privileged to visit and experience. Currently, Scandinavian harbors are my primary focus, due, in large part, to my Norwegian heritage.
